Brain-Body Connection

ree

Our brains and bodies are always talking to each other, especially when we’re under chronic stress.

When life feels overwhelming, our fight-or-flight system stays switched on, flooding us with stress hormones like cortisol.

Over time, this constant pressure can affect how we think, feel, and even how our bodies function — leading to anxiety, low mood, tension, or exhaustion.

It’s a reminder that mental health isn’t just “in our heads”; it lives in our whole body!

By slowing down, moving gently, and practicing mindfulness, we can calm this stress response and support both our minds and bodies in healing.
